The award will be presented in Sydney on Thursday 12th November 2009 commencing at 5PM in the Jubilee Room of NSW Parliament. The event features the Pearcey Foundation "Young Guns" debate on how to create a better climate for technology-led entrepreneurial leadership in NSW. Students, researchers, entrepreneurs, business leaders and politicians are invited. Event Details The 2009 NSW Pearcey Awards features a "Young Guns" debate at NSW Parliament evening 12th November. The debate will discuss how we can create a better climate for technology entrepreneurial leadership in NSW. Invited to the debate are leading politicians, entrepreneurs, business leaders, secondary and tertiary students. Following the debate the annual NSW Pearcey award for entrepreneurial leadership will be presented. The NSW Pearcey Award is presented to a “mid career” technology entrepreneur who has already made a significant contribution to industry, and who has the potential to make further significant contributions. The event will also highlight the outcomes of the recent Public Sphere events held in Canberra, Wollongong and Sydney, with updates by Penny Sharpe NSW MLC and Federal Senator Kate Lundy.
